For chlorinated pools and spas.
Unlike most liquid test kits that only measure total chlorine (total chlorine includes free chlorine and combined chlorine), these test strips measure free chlorine. Test strips are a contrast method of measurement. They are a quick field test to analyze the most common parameters such as pH, chlorine ppm, chlorine ppm and chlorine ppm.

Tips for use:
• Immerse a strip in water and remove it immediately.
• Hold the strip level for 15 seconds (do not shake excess water off the strip).
• Compare the pH, free chlorine, total alkalinity and stabilizer indicators (in that order) to the color chart on the label.
For best results in the stabilizer (cyanuric acid) test, the pH should be between 7.0 and 8.4 and the alkalinity should be between 7.0 and 8.4. 8.4 and the total alkalinity should be at or below 240 ppm.
